Smart Plugs – A Myriad Of Possibilities
As well as syncing with in-home assistants such as Alexa, smart plugs offer true remote convenience if you’re away from home, whether that’s at work or on holiday.
For example, you can connect a slow cooker full of tasty ingredients to a smart plug and have it start cooking several hours before you set off home, so a delicious meal is ready on your arrival. Decided to work overtime? No problem, you can also turn it off remotely too.
Ever had that feeling you’ve left the iron or your hair straighteners on whilst sat on the train to work? No problem, when they’re connected to a smart plug simply check and turn them off on your phone.
Worried about your home being empty whilst on holiday? Set a schedule so your lamps turn on and off during the day and evening. With the ability to set up to eight ON/OFF events per day and capacity for up to 10 smart plugs per Wiser system, it’s likely to deter would-be burglars.
