Wiser Continues Sponsorship Of Exeter Chiefs As They Set Sights To World Domination

It’s been an historic month for the Exeter Chiefs, they closed their 2019-2020 season with not one but TWO Cups for their rapidly-filling trophy cabinet.

Just a week after fending off Racing 92 31-27 to win the European Championship, the Chiefs beat Wasps 19-13 and lifted the Premiership Cup, a staggering double-win for our local team.

The Chiefs kicked off their new season and defence of their Premiership title in their win against Harlequins 33-3 on Friday, and we’re pleased to continue our sponsorship of this local team as they look set to take on the world.

The Rise Of Exeter Chiefs

The club was first founded in 1871, and steadily climbed through division after division through the 1990s. But in the last just over 10 years the team has worked hard to catapult the club into the Premiership to take British and European rugby by storm.

Since Exeter Chiefs' move to Sandy Park stadium in 2006, the venue has become an international stadium hosting Rugby World Cup games in 2015, Women’s Internationals and International 7’s.

The club has also developed an extensive training academy used by thousands of local young people, many of whom have gone on to excel at a national level including for British Lions.

As a locally-founded company in Devon more than 70 years ago, with our headquarters in Devon, supporting local business and local talent has been an important part of our journey and we’re proud to support Exeter Chiefs in their meteoric rise in rugby.
