Schneider Electric Named Most Sustainable Company of 2024 by TIME and Statista

Here at Drayton, the brand behind Wiser and part of Schneider Electric, we’re not about giving lip service to nurturing the environment, we’re about real targets, real action, and trackable results to do better for a climate in distress.

In a rigorous rating system devised by TIME and data firm Statista, Schneider Electric has been recognised as the World’s Most Sustainable Company of 2024, scoring 88.86 out of a maximum of 100 and beating the likes of NEC Corp, Siemens, PayPal, HP and Microsoft.

Ratings like this hold companies across the globe to high standards for their Scope 1 and 2 emissions, as well as their energy consumption relative to company size.

What Makes Schneider Electric the World’s Most Sustainable Company?

Having set ambitious targets to reduce its emissions - and be carbon neutral by 2025 - through its sustainability impact program, Schneider Electric also empowers customers to reduce emissions and become more energy efficient through both large-scale Sustainability Business projects focused on energy management, and smaller scale domestic smart heating controls designed to empower every household to save energy and money.

Schneider electric has received an A rating from the CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) for the last 12 consecutive years, and at Drayton we’re proud to belong to a worldwide network of sustainable business that’s aiding the transition to low carbon energy consumption across the world.

“We’ve positioned the company to be an Impact company.”
– Peter W. Herweck, CEO, Schneider Electric

Schneider Electric and its subsidiary, EcoAct, are also official supporters of climate contribution projects for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Sustainability at Drayton

We don’t just make the products that help you reduce your emissions. Drayton are committed to owning our impact on the footprint and reducing emissions at every stage of our supply chain. Having already focused on Scope 1 and 2 emissions, we’ve set our sights on Scope 3 as part of our sustainability roadmap that moves us towards net zero emissions.

We’ve adopted a holistic approach to sustainable business based around the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (or SDGs), which recognises the importance of all factors that contribute to a better and more sustainable world for all, like gender equality, and good health and wellbeing, in addition to reducing carbon emissions and other types of pollution.
