Smart Modes
The Wiser Home app's Smart Modes have been meticulously designed to let you customise your home environment using clever algorithms that learn about your home's thermal properties.
Away Mode and Eco mode deliver proven energy savings* while Comfort Mode prioritises on-time warmth over efficiency. Simply toggle between the modes as you need and let Wiser do the rest.
Away Mode
Out for the day or a longer trip away? Reduce annual bills by up to 14%* when you reduce all setpoints across the home with a single tap to Away Mode.
Turn Away Mode off at any time via the app to return to normal schedules. Configure and customise your Away Mode preferences in the Settings menu.
Eco Mode
Well-insulated homes cool down more slowly, so turning off the boiler ahead of the scheduled end time helps you save little and often.
When enabled, Eco Mode uses temperature data from your Wiser devices to learn how quickly your home cools down, turning off the boiler automatically at the best possible time. The longer you use it, the more it'll learn.
Comfort Mode
You’d like your home toasty by 6pm, but don’t want to risk turning the heating on too early and wasting energy. Sound familiar?
While not a dedicated energy-saving mode, Comfort Mode - like Eco Mode - uses temperature data, but instead learns how quickly your home warms up and automatically turns your heating on early to pre-heat your home at the optimum time, meaning your boiler will be on for longer when Comfort Mode is enabled to ensure warmth is where you want it, when you want it.

Automate Away Mode with a free IFTTT account and geofencing to turn ON energy-saving Away Mode when you and your smart phone leave your home, and OFF again when you return, with no need to interact with the app.
