What does the Wiser Shades Control Micro Module do?

The Wiser Shades Control Micro Module allows you to transform standard shutter switches into smart shade controls, allowing you to open/close, schedule and automate motorised blinds, shutters or awnings via the Wiser Home app.

How does it improve comfort and automation in my home?

Depending on what other Wiser devices you have, you can set automations based on time of day, temperature, light levels and much more to enhance comfort, privacy, and energy efficiency. For example, shades can close automatically during hot afternoons.

Is it compatible with all blind motors?

The Wiser Shades Control Micro Module works with motors that have 3 or 4 wires. There are connections for 2 drive wires - one for up direction, one for down and a neutral. Some motors will also have an earth connection.

Is it easy to install and pair with the Wiser system?

Yes. The module installs behind existing mechanical double push-button switches and pairs easily with the Wiser Hub using the Wiser Home app.

Can I calibrate the shade movement for precise control?

Absolutely. The Wiser app allows shutter calibration, ensuring accurate open/close positioning based on your motor’s timing.

Do I need a Wiser hub to use the Wiser Shades Control Micro Module?
