Connectivity you can rely on

Wiser devices communicate with the HubR – which in turn controls boiler output – via a Zigbee network rather than Wi-Fi, ensuring a reliable signal across the home and should your Wi-Fi fail, your smart heating won’t. A Wi-Fi connection is only needed for initial cloud setup.

Want to check signal strength? Find device signal strength indicators in the Wiser Home app and if you need to boost signal, for example in larger homes or those with thick walls, the Wiser Plug is a useful add-on which both boosts signal across the Wiser system, and as a bonus allows you to control and schedule a mains-powered device via the app.

Enable the Smart Modes, check and adjust temperatures, create and edit schedules, create Moments where multiple devices are triggered for an event like movie night, integrate Wiser Home with third party apps like IFTTT, get system feedback and data displays, and control your smart plugs. Go multi-room

Better control means better efficiency, and Wiser’s multi-room smart heating control is made possible by our award-winning smart radiator thermostats, that fit to practically any thermostatic radiator valve.

Custom heating schedules for every room mean no more running from room to room turning manual thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs), simply add a smart TRV to every room and set a schedule to keep your study warm when working from home in the day, and your bedroom heating to turn on when you want to turn off for the night.

Heading home early and need to boost the living room heating? No problem, check and boost temperatures room-by-room in the app to temporarily override the system, which will return to normal schedules after the override has ended.

 

Smart Modes

Wiser’s Smart Modes have been carefully designed to maximise both comfort and convenience.

Turn on Away Mode to turn all setpoints down to a chosen minimum, so you won’t waste money heating an empty home. Left home already? Enable Smart Modes in the app from anywhere.

Enable Eco Mode which learns about the thermal properties of your home and how quickly it cools down, and turns the boiler off ahead of its scheduled OFF time to save energy.

Comfort Mode is another intelligent learning mode that learns how quickly your home warms and enhances comfort by turning the boiler on ahead of its scheduled ON time to ensure temperatures are at your chosen level by the start of the ON period.

Easy integrations

Want to go even smarter? Wiser is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands, as well as IFTTT that lets you take advantage of geofencing to automatically turn on Away Mode when you leave your address.

Have a mixed heating system? Wiser’s Underfloor Heating Controller and Electrical Heat Switch lets you take control of and schedule other heating sources like water-based underfloor heating and electrical panel heaters, all from the Wiser Home app alongside your other devices.

 

Insights & Heat Report

In the Wiser Home app, you’ll find your system data feedback zone, known as Insights. This feature displays your heating use and boiler activation, the number of temperature overrides used, plus the savings you’ve made as a result of activating the Smart Modes.

Tap Heat Report to see temperature profiles for every zone in your system, showing exactly where heat is used and when. This feedback helps you understand where more savings can be made so you can further tailor and optimise your schedules to avoid unnecessary temperature overrides.
