IFTTT meet Wiser

Did you know that IFTTT is compatible with Wiser? Integration with IFTTT enhances the Smart Heating Controls of Wiser thermostats to help you create tailor-made commends. So, to discover everything you need to know about this innovative system, see below!

 

Connecting is simple; set up a free account with IFTTT, link the Wiser account with IFTTT, then simply visit the Wiser Heat channel. This will allow you to start using the ready-made Applets or create your own command ‘recipes’. You can be as creative as you like with IFTTT, even using the app to switch off the heating when you leave the house.

 

What is IFTTT?

IFTTT stands for If This Then That. It’s a common programming statement that highlights the system’s purpose: to connect apps, devices and services from different developers together. The result of this is unique automation that connects the features of your smart home into bespoke, integrated commands. It covers a range of services from Amazon Alexa and Google to your home’s Smart Thermostats.

 

Speaking of which, Wiser integrates with IFTTT to enable you to control your heating based on your actions with other smart products. Wiser easily integrates with IFTTT to tailor your heating system to suit your lifestyle. IFTTT uses 3rd party apps to integrate with Wiser to control your smart heating based on set actions.

 

What can I do with IFTTT?

Our integration with IFTTT allows you to connect your Thermostat App to other devices to better automate your thermostats or Underfloor Heating Controls, as well as your Wiser Smart Plugs. 

 

We are also currently focused on connecting IFTTT with our Away Mode Function. You can activate this smart mode by a variety of triggers such as leaving your home with your smartphone.. We're looking into how we can add many more features to use with IFTTT over the coming months so that you can Save Even More Energy and Money with Wiser!
